Ethnochemistry: Exploring the Potential of Sasak and Java Local Wisdom as a Teaching Materials

The lack of availability learning resources in the form teaching materials is one problems found chemistry learning, both secondary schools and tertiary institutions, so it very urgent to develop contextual as an implementation ethnochemical approach learning. purpose this study was explore by exploring potential local Sasak Javanese wisdom. This research uses a qualitative with data collection techniques through literature, interviews, documentation. obtained were analyzed using Miles & Huberman's analysis. subjects consisted community leaders, chemical content experts, literature relevant study. Based on findings, can be concluded that wisdom used source integrating bonding changes elements, compounds, mixtures. Thus, implications reference developing make more meaningful.
